India National Highway Expansion Programme

under implementation

India is undertaking one of the largest highway expansion programmes globally, involving tens of thousands of kilometres of highway development. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is driving reforms to accelerate infrastructure delivery by addressing delays caused by land acquisition, clearances, and litigation through a national workshop focused on litigation management and inter-departmental coordination.
