Description | Florida Power & Light (FPL) received a recommendation of approval from Indiantown's Planning, Zoning and Appeals Board on April 16, 2026, to develop about 5,700 acres recently annexed into the village. The proposed agreement permits a data center on the property, with a master site plan as a preliminary step toward a final site plan. FPL has no current plans for the property but intends to develop it in three phases, with the existing Monarch solar facility on site. The project aims to increase the village's tax base and support major employers, with no housing planned on the property. |
