Description | A state-of-the-art maintenance facility for Vande Bharat sleeper coaches is being constructed at Bhagat Ki Kothi railway station in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The project is being developed in two phases, with the first phase including a 600-meter maintenance track capable of servicing 24 sleeper coaches, expected to be completed by June 2026. The second phase will add a workshop and simulator center, slated for completion by June 2027. The facility will feature advanced machinery and simulators for training personnel and will maintain only sleeper versions of Vande Bharat trains. |
