The skywalk is perched 1,000 metres above mean sea level and offers views of the city and the Bay of Bengal. It is designed to withstand wind speeds up to 250 kmph and uses toughened, high-strength glass for safety. The structure supports more than 100 people but limits entry to 40 visitors at a time. The project took nearly a year to complete and was built under a revenue-sharing model. |
