The industry faces risks of overcapacity and challenges in maintaining cost competitiveness, especially due to a decline in exports to the United States caused by new tariffs. Protective measures like the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) and proposed anti-dumping duties are being implemented to support domestic producers.
