Specifically the project will support: Enhanced land use in order to convert lands within the indigenous territories into sustainable productive sources of foodstuffs in accordance with indigenous cultural traditions and vertical food systems; Support for current and new indigenous entrepreneurial activities in the production, commercialization, and export of products and services in order to generate needed monetary resources for goods and services that are not produced within the traditional economy (such as salt, oil, fish, industrial goods, tools, social services, etc.); and Capacity building for the indigenous organizations representing the four indigenous groups (Kogi, Wiwa, Arhuaco and Kankuamo) in economic governance, administrative and financial management, consensus-building, and coordination with governmental agencies.
