Information Irrigation and CAD-TG has come up with Indiramma Flood Flow Canal Project with a ticket size of 5940.09 INR Crores. This project in Irrigation sub-sector involves The current status of the project is Notice to Proceed and is being developed through the EPC route. Economic/Social Impact of the Project Indiramma Flood Flow canal envisages diversion of flood water from Sri Ram Sagar reservoir through the flood flow canal which would be stored in two reservoirs viz., Mid Manair Reservoir and Gouravelly Reservoir to provide irrigation facilities to 93,587 Ha in Rajanna Sircilla, Karimnagar, Siddipet, Warangal Urban, Jangaon, Jagtiyal & Peddapally districts of Telangana. The project was accorded investment clearance for Rs. 1331.3083 Crore by Planning Commission vide No. 2[322]/03-WR, dated 08.12.2005. The project was included under AIBP during FY 2005-06 and it is being monitored by M & A Dte, CWC, Hyderabad. The latest revised estimated cost of the project is Rs. 5940.09 crore which was approved during 128th TAC meeting held on 29-02-2016.
