Description
Description | The state government has opened the e-bhoomi portal for buying land for the Industrial Modern Township (IMT) project at Khudana village in Mahendragarh district. The project is planned to be developed over 1,654 acres, with 1,032 acres of panchayat land and the rest privately owned. The project has faced delays since its foundation stone laying in 2019, mainly due to lack of direct connectivity to the Dadri-Narnaul highway and reluctance of private landowners to sell land. Two 60-m roads have been proposed to connect the site to the highway, but progress is stalled. The portal is open for two months to allow landowners to give consent for land acquisition. |
