Description

Description

The Oklahoma Space Industry Development Authority (OSIDA) has officially unveiled a new name and brand for its flagship aerospace facility in western Oklahoma, now known as the Infinity One Oklahoma Spaceport. Formerly known as the Clinton-Sherman Industrial Airpark and the Oklahoma Air & Space Port, the new name ties the facility’s identity to its original Federal Aviation Administration designation for the site’s launch corridor, marking it as the first inland launch facility to receive the license in the United States. The change follows the merger of OSIDA with the Oklahoma Department of Aerospace and Aeronautics (ODAA) in July 2025, designed to streamline aerospace operations and accelerate industry growth. The spaceport spans 2,700 acres in Burns Flat and features a 13,503′ x 300′ all-weather concrete runway, utility systems, air traffic control infrastructure, a golf course, an education facility, and a health clinic. Dawn Aerospace will base its U.S. headquarters at Infinity One and conduct suborbital space flights beginning in 2027.
