Information Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Board has come up with Infrastructure Development Investment Program for Tourism with a ticket size of 2357.42 INR Crores. This project in Tourism infrastructure - Hotels & Accommodation sub-sector involves The current status of the project is Not Applicable Economic/Social Impact of the Project The project will help reducing the negative externalities originating from the poor urban/ tourism infrastructure. Some of the services required are natural monopolies unsuited to small and unregulated private investments, and hence justify Government intervention, projects will help in improving the efficiency of the existing systems and Developing the system with new technology and additional coverage. Environmental protection and sanitation improvements will protect the welfare of the public.
