Infrastructure Upgrades on Notre Dame St. in Atholville, Campbellton

The project will replace a 50 year old 100mm watermain with a new 200mm PVC diameter line to support new housing development in the Atholville ward of the Municipality of Campbellton. The work includes replacing 530 metres of cast iron watermain and replacing 240 metres of storm sewer mains and catch basins. These upgrades will increase water flow to support a proposed 60 unit apartment building, as well as future apartment development on nearby vacant lots - enabling approximately 200 new housing units in total, including 12 low income units. The work will also connect the municipal water distribution systems between wards, eliminating dead end lines and improving water quality for residents.
