IC foresees 9 groups (130 volunteers, 35% of which with fewer opportunities) in Volunteering Teams coming in 3 different locations in Bulgaria across 2023, 2024 and 2025. The general aim of the project, in accordance with the Call priorities, is a preservation of cultural heritage: recovering of cultural infrastructure, testing new intercultural approaches to heritage and its promotion. Topics covered will be: - Our common cultural heritage with the lessons that we must to know and remembering; - Our sense of belonging and how it is linked with a tolerance and acceptation of diversity; - The future of Europe will be remembering or radicalization. Volunteers will also support and work with vulnerable groups that live in rural areas, far from providers of informational and entertainment services. Every Team will engage in the following Complementary Activities: - A training cycle on the topic of preserving cultural heritage and promote it; - A Round Table during the last week of each Team held locally to discuss the results of each Team and on how to follow-up and upscale them; - Translation of informational materials in the language of the partnerships, that will give a chance of more people in Europe to be familiar with our cultural heritage; - A Handbook with the experience, ideas and opinions of young volunteers about the power and potential of cultural herit-age to teach us and make us tolerance people. Given the impact that the war in Ukraine have on our human relationships, huge migrant waves and damages in the beautiful Ukrainian towns and monuments, therefore, this project will be the chance for young people to reclaim space for discussions and reflections of history and its lessons in a safety space, while engaging in activities fostering. Inherited culture is a project to understand our common cultural roots and wealth to be together and help each other.
