INnoCLUSION: Social innovation support to improve the inclusion of people with disabilities and the work of respective social service organisations. People with disabilities do not have the same opportunities to participate in society, whether professionally, socially, touristically or culturally. The European Union and its member states are making great efforts to enable people with disabilities to live an equal life in society. However, measures often fail due to financial constraints. The aim of the project is to harness innovations for this purpose that enable cost-effective improvements. In Living Labs, existing solutions are to be adapted to the needs of people with disabilities - together with those affected - or new solutions are to be developed. At the same time, it should be ensured that the measures contribute to decarbonisation. With the same focus, the project also targets social service organisations, whose work can become more effective and also less polluting through innovation. In this way, the various goals of the European Union, the needs of people with disabilities and the development of new innovative design formats can be tied together and create a holistic approach to improving the living situation in the European Union.
