The project is aimed at two main goals: Internationalization of SMEs. Reinforcing international cooperation of Ukrainian and European SMEs. The main basis are internationalization of trade and trading relations, adaptation of European standards and regulatory policy and entrepreneurship development to Ukraine, reinforcing the working and cooperation networks between businesses and technology developers in all territory of Ukraine. Stimulation of innovation policy for SMEs. To achieve competitiveness and economic development it is necessary to provide an innovative way of economic development, activation of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as a result of establishing close links between science and business by participating in EEN. Facilitation of the process of transfer of knowledge and technology transfer between research institutions, innovative SMEs and industry using EEN tools, close interaction with developers of advanced technologies will introduce an effective technology to raise the competitiveness of Ukraine's economy. In today's context of globalization of the world economy stable development of national economies and their competitiveness is only possible with creation and use of new knowledge, and to facilitate participation in these processes SMEs is a priority. The process of creating, using and sharing knowledge enhance the competitiveness of Ukraine's economy and its integration into the European space. To enhance the commercialization of R&D and to overcome the gap between the spheres of science, technology and business, business development of SMEs, it is necessary to unite all members of this complex process in the EEN. To achieve the goals of this Project Consortium EEN-Ukraine was created, partners of which are experienced in support of SMEs within the EEN services and has their own client database covering all territory of Ukraine.
