Innovation Park Development

under construction

Innovation Park, located off Highway 25E in Cocke County, Tennessee, is an industrial park project that was unfinished in 2022. The project faced several issues including unfinished pads, lack of utilities and infrastructure, over budget costs, and lack of proper approvals. Efforts have been made to address these issues, including reestablishing the Industrial Development Board, securing funding, purchasing land for driveway encroachment, submitting site plans for approval, and progressing towards completion with all four pads to be finished by the end of 2025. The project aims to attract new employers and provide industrial-grade utilities to adjacent businesses.
