People with reduced working abilities (PRWA) are mostly unemployed, the environment including potential employers does not understand their options and does not support them, they live in poverty, and often even beg. The social business is very attractive because it enables solving both economic and social problems, it improves human life and society and it can significantly increase the number of PRWA employees, but social enterprises in the CBR (cross-border region) face a number of obstacles and difficulties that aggravate and threaten their work. Due to the lack of information and knowledge, the environment does not adequately support PRWAs employment. Project’s main objective is to improve the conditions for successful and long-term participation of PRWA at the labour market through capacity building of social entrepreneurship stakeholders in the cross-border region (CBR). The core of the project is to strengthen the capacity of PRWAs, their families, the teachers working with them, social enterprises and other business entities to recruit PRWAs, but also to better understand and accept PRWAs and social entrepreneurship as a safe way to recruit PRWAs and improve their position. The project will accomplish this through trainings, business conferences, study visit, forums, preparation and provision of physical prerequisites, setting up an e-shop, as well as using a range of communication tools. The target groups of the project are PRWA and their families in CBR, teachers working in schools with PRWA, social enterprises in CBR, other business entities in the CBR and CBR community.
