The main objective of this project is to strengthen the financial management and operating capacity of CREAR TACNA, and then to expand and diversify its financial services according to criteria of efficiency and competitiveness.The three main activities that CREAR TACNA will carry out under the project are:a) Hire specialized technical assistance to support the institution in different areas such as (i) preparation of the strategy and business plan; (ii) design of new products, including savings; (iii) process reengineering; (iv) automation of the loan approval process; (v) credit technology; (vi) environmental issues; (vii) adoption of new information systems; and (viii) marketing of financial products.b) Offer the management and operating staff training and technology exchanges in order to boost the institution's technical and management capacity.c) Acquire new equipment and software to improve operating efficiency and management information systems. The communications systems between headquarters and branch offices will be upgraded.
