The overall objective of the operation is to improve the living conditions of women microentrepreneurs in rural and suburban areas of the Dominican Republic, expanding and strengthening the supply of financial services. The specific objective is to strengthen the management and administrative systems of MUDE allowing women microentrepreneurs, located in rural and suburban areas of the Dominican Republic, to have access to new and improved microcredit and complementary services. To that end, the project will center its efforts in: (i) providing technical assistance to strengthen the operational and administrative areas of MUDE microcredit program; (ii) develop new financial products to rural areas by the institution; (Iii ) strengthening the credit program in the operational and technology area to provide timely services with efficiency and quality.
