A.ObjectiveThe objective is to boost the financial management and operational capacity of PROEMPRESA, first to consolidate and then to expand and diversify its financial services, in a context of competitiveness and efficiency.B.ActivitiesThe three main activities that PROEMPRESA will carry out under the project are to:a.Obtain specialized technical assistance to support the board of directors and staff in various areas including: (i) strategic planning; (ii) credit techniques; (iii) process reengineering; (iv) design and development of new products, including savings; (v) incentive system; (vi) financial services marketing; (vii) environmental and labor safety aspects; and (viii) adaptation of its management information system.b.Offer training and professional development activities and technical exchanges for key management and operating staff to boost their technical and management capacity and productivity.c.Procure the information systems needed to adapt the existing system to the demands of growth and modernize electronic telecommunications among its branches.
