Institutional Support Project for Governance & Poverty Reduction

The ultimate goal of the project is to contribute to poverty reduction and achieve greater economic and social development through strengthening the human and institutional governance capacity of the state and the PRSP process in Ghana. The project will promote good governance in the areas of accountability, efficiency, transparency and anti-corruption. The project goal will be realised through strengthening the institutional and human resource capacity of the Parliamentary Service (PS), the Judicial Service (JS), the Commission for Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ) and the National Development Planning Commission that is responsible for co-coordinating the PRSP process. The capacity building and institutional support will include providing local training, installing information technology, and providing other logistics, such as equipment.
