Description | Founded in 2002, Shandong Intco Recycling Resources Company Limited (“Intco” or “the Company”) (https://www.intco.com.cn/en) is a manufacturer of recycled plastics, especially recycled polystyrene (r-PS) and recycled polyethylene terephthalate (r-PET). In Malaysia, Intco has an existing facility with 72,000 tons of rPS capacity and 50,000 tons of rPET capacity located in Klang, State of Selangor. IFC proposes to support Intco with up to US$70 million CNY. The proposed use of proceeds include: 1) expansion of Intco's production capacity for 100,000 tons of r-PET in Malaysia by developing a greenfield facility located in Bating, State of Selangor; and 2) working capital (“the Project”). |
