Description
Description | The project “Integrated Development of Natural and Cultural Tourism in Tisa River Region” started as an idea and joint initiative of two partners together involved in every part of project development. Tisa abounds with natural beauty represents an extraordinary potential for tourism development that enables overall socio-economic development of the region by involving various stakeholders into the very process of products and routes marketing. This is recognised as relevant tool to ensure sustainable development of eligible area. Unique opportunities for tourist as seeing Tisa mayfly and enjoying thematic routes (cycling, running, walking) to get more familiar with natura l values, special flora and fauna (Zoo of Palić and Szeged, and the Buffalo Farm by the lake of Nagyszéksós ) as well as cultural heritage (cathedrals, museums, folk tradition) will be, for the first time, promoted as joint touristic offer, branded a nd recognised on touristic maps. Marketing includes digital and non-digital promotion as well as usage of android and IOS platforms. The project emphasizes cross-border impact through all phases of project development and implementation, especially e xchange of knowledge and experience through numerous events such as info tours, conferences and seminars that will include 980 people.
