Integrated Farm Statistics 2023 survey (IFS 2023) in Latvia will be conducted in line with the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) No 2018/1091. IFS 2023 is based on a module approach. The survey will help to acquire information on the core structural data related to the agricultural holdings (number of holdings, land use, livestock number, management) and modules: labour force and other gainful activities, rural development, soil management practices, machinery and equipment and orchard. The main objectives of the project are to obtain, process and disseminate information from the Integrated Farm Statistics 2023 survey in accordance with Regulation (EU) No 2018/1091 of the European Parliament and of the Council requirements and arranging and sending a microdata array and quality report to Eurostat in order to provide the statistical data user with comparable, topical information on the development of the agricultural sector in Latvia.
