The National Statistics Office (NSO) has the duty to carry out the Integrated Farm Statistics (IFS) in accordance with Regulation (EU) No 2018/1091 of the European Parliament and of the Council for 2026. The survey will cover the detailed survey characteristics listed in Annex I and II together with their detailed description in Annex III of the Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/2914. The data collection aim to provide information on the structure of agricultural holdings (number of holdings, land use, livestock numbers, management, farm labour input) as well as on production methods, and rural development methods. The data collections are needed to provide the statistical knowledge base for the design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and review of related policies, in particular the common agricultural policy (CAP).
