In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2018/1091, National Statistical Institutes are required to organize and implement data collections on integrated farm statistics (IFS). The objectives of this proposal are: (i) the organization and implementation of the data collection in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2018/1091 and Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/2914 on the 2026 module data collections for the reference year 2026 in Austria; and (ii) the establishment of the corresponding quality report. These data will provide essential information on the structure of agricultural holdings, production methods, labour force, rural development, vineyards, animal housing and manure management. The resulting statistics form the foundation for evidence-based agricultural policy at both the national and EU level and are of vital importance for assessing the revised Common Agricultural Policy, the European Green Deal, the Farm-to-Fork Strategy, and the Biodiversity Strategy.
