The Third Integrated Financial Management Technical Assistance Project aims to extend and deepen the reforms being pursued under the ongoing the Second Integrated Financial Management Project (Loan 4269), with the aim of increasing the effectiveness, efficiency, and transparency of public sector financial management and control. The project consists of six components: 1) This component will consolidate Integrated Financial Management System (SIAF) for a medium term expenditure framework. 2) This component will support the strengthening of municipal government financial management. 3) This component will support a limited, but necessary first step improvement in human resources management. 4) This component will continue the program of institutional strengthening of the Office of the Comptroller General. 5) The electronic government component will support the Government's e-government agenda in strategy formulation and guidance for the public sector as a whole, and implementation of the strategy in aspects related to public finance. 6) This component will finance the costs of the Project Coordinating Unit (PCU).
