Description | The project will expand the use of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) to aid in the operation of public transit in the Municipality of Waterloo. The project consists of the purchase of 30 new digital information displays at LRT platforms and nine (9) new on-board info displays. It also consists of the following system upgrades: one (1) mobile payment app, 36 mobile validators and 25 retail point-of-sale units (POS). The project aims to improve the quality and safety of the public transit system in Waterloo, Ontario. |
