• The project will expand the use of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) to aid in the operation of public transit in the Municipality of Waterloo. • The project consists of the purchase of 30 new digital information displays at LRT platforms and nine (9) new on-board info displays. It also consists of the following system upgrades: one (1) mobile payment app, 36 mobile validators and 25 retail point-of-sale units (POS). • The project aims to improve the quality and safety of the public transit system in Waterloo, Ontario.
