Description
Description | Inter Alia’s youth strategy espouses the aim of a European Education Area and aligns the “Engage-Connect-Empower” principles of the EU’s Youth Strategy (2019-2027). Inter Alia will implement the FPA in collaboration with a transnational, urban and rural, cross- disciplinary, cross-sectoral network of partners. It includes, except from youth CSOs, municipalities, four universities, transnational civil society networks, policy and advocacy groups and two museums. The creation and gradual strengthening of the network through joint educational activities, knowledge dissemination and regular statutory meetings will set a common conceptual and methodological approach regarding contemporary challenges of youth aiming to: - Promote active citizenship and EU citizenship awareness of youth - Promote mobility and connections of young persons and volunteers - Promote exchange of practices and capacity building of youth workers and other professionals - Empower different vulnerable groups emphasising on intersecting identities and aspects of discrimination and connect their struggles - Promote the advocacy capacity of youth and of CSOs active in the field of youth and enhance accessibility of decision makers Our activities are learning and action-oriented. The former take up the bigger part of the plan and are organised in the context of the Roots School of Critical and Explorative Learning. RSCEL promotes transformation in education and society through the cultivation of reflective and solution-seeking thinking about political, social, economic and environmental issues. As a transnational, community-based learning centre, RSCEL applies learning methods which are based on participation, experimentation, inclusivity and reflexivity. The latter are organised under the Heart Civic Action Point and involve youth actors in advocacy actions, campaigns for raising awareness, cultural events in public spaces etc. |
