Description | The Federation of International Cultural Youth Exchange (ICYE), comprising 40 global member organisations, in a non-profit NGO with headquarters in Berlin, Germany. ICYE fosters youth mobility, intercultural learning, diversity, and active citizenship through voluntary service, training course, and thematic projects. ICYE's mission is to: Provide high quality and impactful intercultural learning experiences and opportunities, as well as capacity building, to all involved in our work, so that they can better contribute for a just, peaceful and sustainable world; especially supporting young people in building personal and professional competencies. Our 2025 work programme will contribute to the EU Youth Goals, the objectives of the call the 4 cross-cutting priorities. Based on quality non-formal intercultural learning and guided by the principles of solidarity, inclusion, and sustainability, the ICYE International Office (ICYE IO) will: - Support high-quality, inclusive, and sustainable cooperation among youth organisations in the International Voluntary Service (IVS) movement, as we respond to a rapidly changing field of youth work - Boost youth stakeholder participation and raise awareness on European Youth Goals through action to engage, connect and empower - Equip member organisations with the skills to set up mechanisms to ensure safe, equal, and sustainable voluntary service - Promote and strengthen youth engagement in equitable and inclusive IVS on a local and global level Direct participants in our activities: 19 policy makers 120 IVS organisations (including members) 95 youth workers 200 young people with fewer opportunities 2500 young people in total Outputs: 5 reports 4 digital Newsletters (2 ICYE, 2 Earth Advocacy) Social Media Guide Good Practices Map 2 updatable compilations of resources 3 updated action plans (Youth Engagement, Inclusion, and Decolonise) 12 monthly updates from the ICYE IO to the members Relaunched website |
