The programme is implemented as part of a partnership between the Commune de la Possession, the City of Victoria-Republic of Seychelles and France Volontaires. The operation concerns an international solidarity volunteer mission in the economic field (waste recovery). It takes place in Seychelles, on the basis of an initial 12-month volunteering contract. The operation responds to the capacity building needs of the host structure through technical support specific to the skills and know-how project. In particular, it aims to develop exchanges between economic actors in the countries of the Indian Ocean and Reunion Island. In addition to the technical responsibilities defined by contract, the volunteer will have a special mission to develop lasting and privileged relations between their country or region of employment and Reunion, and to acquire first professional experience for the purpose of integration into the labour market at the end of the contract.
