This is a proposal from eight partners in seven countries to develop a program for Intermediary Organisations and to facilitate an exchange between New Entrepreneurs and Host Entrepreneurs. It is intended that during the period of the program, 204 entrepreneurs - 102 New and 102 Host - will be linked into 102 international engagements. It is intended that both the New Entrepreneurs and the Host Entrepreneurs will benefit from the arrangement in a variety of ways; by observing and learning about new ways of doing things; by being exposed to thinking and approaches in a new country; by learning about the EU business environment; and by learning about the possibility of export markets. The partner organisations will use their close involvement with new businesses which, in many cases, occurs through their enterprise development programs and their direct on-going engagement with enterprises and enterprise networks and all forms of media to recruit high quality participants. As well as using the web tools of COSME, the partners will have direct engagement with proposed participants. Participants will be carefully matched using both the resources of COSME and facilitated introductions by the partners. The development of good relations at an early stage, including through the development of clarity of the expectations of both New and Host Entrepreneurs, will be focused on particularly in order to maximise the possibility of a good outcome. New Entrepreneurs will be prepared for their placement through an on-line program and both the New and Host Entrepreneurs will be supported during the placement by the local IO. The consortium will manage the project in a robust way through an on--line system of document sharing, the development of reporting templates, monthly reporting of progress by all partners and monthly on-line meetings as well as the four network meetings.
