Description | The overall objective is to contribute to the EU Youth Strategy through empowerment, involvement and advocacy for youth in the grassroots sport sector, with a starting point in ISCA and its member organisations. The specific objectives, and their related activity areas are 1) To empower young people inside ISCA to influence decisions and make their voices heard a) Develop an ISCA Youth Advisory Board with youth representatives from member organisations and former ISCA youth volunteers. A key task is to deliver a “Youth audit” of ISCA by 2025. b) Create an ISCA network of member organisations with specific interest and commitment to experimenting new youth engagement initiatives c) Curate and publish relevant content on youth perspectives and youth and sport work at the forthcoming comprehensive isca.org/youth web pages 2) To Integrate youth work across ISCA operations, so that youth becomes a specific focus in our advocacy, capacity building, campaigns, and the MOVE Congress. a) Implement ISCA youth projects (2025: 7 projects) and integrate youth perspectives and youth activities across ISCAs wider project portfolio (2025: 15 projects) b) Develop youth activities across ISCAs NowWeMOVE Campaign annually – No Elevators Day, MOVE Week, and European School Sport Day 3) To Advocate for and ensure dialogue about the EU Youth Strategy and about youth empowerment in ISCA member organisations and beyond a) Integrate youth voices and youth topics in the programme and as participants for the ISCA MOVE Congress 2025 b) Curate content about the EU Youth Strategy and ongoing EU youth policy processes and share through ISCA Youth Advisory Board, ISCA and ISCA members’ channels. |
