International Winter Cup

The project foresees the cooperation between the partner organizations to exchange practices in the field of developing winter sports competitions with a special focus on alpine skiing in the context of university sport community. The main objective is to promote education in and through sport with the focus on supporting skills development in sport – in this case, by staff of partner organizations. In a collaboration with two international partners – National University Sport Associations, Akademicki Zwiazek Sportowy Warszawa aims to create a platform for a development of alpine skiing event in the field of university sport, that aims to popularize physical activity and bring attention to the value of winter sports. The project foresees quality exchange of experience and sharing good practice on the base of the Winter Cup in Poland and competition organized in Slovenia, that’s already established theirs value on the national level. They will also support the third partner in developing of that sector in their country – in Netherlands, as it’s a topic of big interest among their members. By using those fundaments, the project aims to support the popularization of physical activity in participating countries and develop this initiative on the European platform.
