Description

This project takes an intersectional approach and focuses on advancing and promoting equality, preventing and combating discrimination against cis, trans and intersex women, and non-binary persons who self-identity as lesbian, bisexual and queer (hereafter LBTIQ women and non-binary persons), by 1) Building and increasing the capacity of EL*C as an influential, representative and reliable European network of LBTIQ women's and non-binary persons' organizations, which is able to effectively act as the main European actor and reference point for advancing rights and fundamental freedoms of LBTIQ women and non-binary persons, able to develop coherent and coordinated activities to promote the relevant policy objectives and effectively contribute to the development and implementation of relevant EU policies; 2) Building and increasing capacities of EL*C member organizations across all EU member states to become sustainable, strong and effective voice of the LBTIQ women's and non-binary persons' needs and interests in relevant policy and awareness raising processes, on national, regional, EU and international levels; 3) Building partnerships and forging allyships with relevant stakeholders, with the aim to foster and develop coherent, coordinated and strategic actions for achieving common objectives, while expanding the reach of EL*C as a European network.
