Description | Granite Construction won an $111 million contract from the Utah Department of Transportation for the rehabilitation of three miles of Interstate 215 and 12 miles of ramps for SR-201, Interstate 80, and California Avenue in Salt Lake City. The project includes rubblizing existing Portland cement concrete pavement, overlaying 175,000 tons of highly modified hot mix asphalt, structural deck replacements, hydro demolition, pothole patching across 22 bridges, installation of 22,000 linear feet of storm drain, and ramp metering installation at California Avenue. Granite will supply the asphalt materials for the project. |
