The project includes adding three thru lanes and an exiting lane on I-49, full closure of the Highway 58 bridge during construction to expedite the process, and improvements to internal roadways to support detour routes and enhance safety. Construction is planned for spring 2028, with a possibility of starting as early as late 2027. |
