Interstate-83 John Harris Memorial (South) Bridge Replacement Project

The project involves replacing the John Harris Memorial (South) Bridge on Interstate 83 over the Susquehanna River between Cumberland and Dauphin counties. The new northbound bridge will be built south of the existing bridge, then traffic will be moved onto it. The current bridge will be demolished and a new southbound bridge will be built on its footprint. The project also includes reconfiguring the Lemoyne interchange, replacing the South Third Street bridge in Lemoyne, and reconstructing the viaduct from the Susquehanna River to Cameron Street including the Front Street-Second Street interchange.
