Interstate Bridge Replacement Program

The project involves replacing the fixed-span Interstate Bridge between Portland, Oregon and Vancouver, Washington, which will replace the existing century-old Interstate 5 crossing over the Columbia River. The project includes replacing the north and southbound spans of the bridge, connecting the new bridges to Interstate 5, extending light rail service to Vancouver, updating the five-mile stretch of the I-5 corridor around the bridge including seven highway interchanges, and replacing the North Portland Harbor Bridge.
