Description | The proposed project will construct two new culverts on Abel Creek in Invermere, to improve stormwater conveyance and fish passage. Other high priority stormwater and flood protection structures in the catchment will also be constructed. The project works include: - replacement of two culverts at Abel Creek, incorporating fish-friendly design and fish habitat compensation works; - drainage improvements and bank stabilization near 1st Street and near and along 13th Avenue; - replacement of culverts along 13th Avenue and along 5th Street; - stormwater diversion works and installation of drywells at 9th Avenue and 5th Street; and - related works. |
