Description

Description

With this project, EVPA will deliver awareness raising and capacity building actions to support access to EU funding. We will facilitate interactions between the impact community and EU and national policy makers to inform the development of effective EU policies and instruments relating to the social economy and impact finance, in particular in the context of the upcoming European elections. EVPA will articulate the impact community’s needs and concerns towards EU policy makers on specific EU policy developments and financial instruments. We will provide recommendations and insights to shape policies that can provide an enabling framework for impact finance and support the social economy, in view of the next EU strategic agenda 2025-2029. EVPA will reinforce the capacity of its members and the wider impact community by showcasing best practices and enabling peer-learning and capacity building exchanges among practitioners, with a focus on impact funds and impact measurement and management. EVPA will collect, analyse and disseminate data on impact investment in Europe to identify main trends, strategies and gaps in the impact ecosystem. This major market sizing exercise, in collaboration with EU and national market builders, will support evidence-based policy making and mobilise stakeholders and resources for impact. Further research work will also focus on impact measurement and management and highlight practitioners’ impact investment strategies and practices. The project will also aim to develop strategic partnerships across the impact ecosystem to engage and build synergies with key stakeholders; and to amplify the outreach and impact of the project activities through strategic use of communication tools. With this project, EVPA will continue to build and advocate for the social and impact investment sector at pan-European level and beyond.
