Description
Description | With this project, Impact Europe (legally EVPA), the investing for impact network, will deliver awareness raising and capacity building actions to support access to EU funding. We will facilitate interactions between the impact community and EU and national policy makers to inform the development of effective EU policies and instruments relating to the social economy and impact finance. We will articulate the impact community’s needs and concerns towards EU policy makers on specific EU policy developments and financial instruments. We will provide recommendations and insights to shape policies that can provide an enabling framework for impact finance and support the social economy. We will collect, analyse and disseminate data on impact investment in Europe to identify main trends, strategies and gaps in the impact ecosystem. This major market sizing exercise, in collaboration with EU and national market builders, will support evidence-based policy making and mobilise stakeholders and resources for impact. Further research work will also focus on impact investment strategies and practices, involving practitioners, experts and academics. We will strengthen our cooperation with external stakeholders at EU and national level to increase synergies, share knowledge, best practices on impact investing and policy insights, to support the development of a thriving impact ecosystem. We will reinforce the capacity of our members and the wider impact community by enabling peer-learning and capacity building exchanges among practitioners, with a focus on impact measurement and management and relevant topics to the ecosystem. The project will aim to develop strategic partnerships across the impact ecosystem to engage and build synergies with key stakeholders; and to amplify the outreach and impact of the project activities through strategic use of communication tools. We will continue building and advocating for the social and impact investment sector in Europe and beyond. |
