Description

Description

The development objective of the Second Phase of Investing in Nutrition and Early Years Program-for-Results (PforR) Project is to enhance the delivery of services to accelerate the reduction of stunting in Indonesia. The PforR deepens the flagship partnership of the Government of Indonesia (GoI) and the World Bank to support stunting reduction under the ongoing first phase of investing in nutrition and early years program (INEY). The PforR modality is the GoI’s preferred financing instrument and will streamline World Bank financing toward the stunting reduction program alongside ongoing health sector reforms. The new PforR will: (a) provide risk mitigation measures to the challenges of multisectoral coordination and the management challenges that constrain effective delivery of programs and interventions; (b) maintain focus on a core package of priority services critical to stunting reduction and early years development; and (c) generate data across the results chain and levels of government, including outputs and intermediate outcomes at the national, district, and village levels.
