The aim of this Program is to provide technical assistance to the Government of South Africa to support attraction, generation and retention of FDI in the Renewable Energy sector. This will require support to the Presidency and the Department of Trade, Industry & Competition (DTIC) to operationalize the eco-system within which it will operate and the intra-governmental coordination that will be required to deliver on its investment generation targets. This will be achieved by improving capacity within InvestSA, the Investment and Infrastructure Office in the Presidency (IIO) and the CEO Forum to develop a South Africa investment proposition for the Renewable Energy sector to increase private investment in the sector.
