Iowa City Project Cleanup Program

ongoing

The city of Iowa City is continuing to offer Project Cleanup kits, a volunteer program that supports community-led litter removal efforts. The initiative encourages residents to help keep neighborhoods, parks, and walking routes clean by providing free cleanup kits including reusable gloves and garbage bags. Volunteers collect litter in public spaces and dispose of it properly without requiring a disposal sticker.
