Iran Airspace Closure Impact on International Flights from India

ongoing disruption

Following Israel's attack on Iran's nuclear sites, Iran has closed its airspace, causing significant disruptions to international flights between India and the West. Air India flights are being diverted or returning to their origin, leading to longer flight routes. Indian carriers now have to take longer routes to reach Central Asia due to both Pakistan and Iran airspace being no-fly zones. Airlines are making alternative arrangements and offering refunds or rescheduling to affected passengers.
