Ireland's First Green Energy Park at DUB20 Campus

Echelon Data Centres plans to establish Ireland's first Green Energy Park at its DUB20 campus in Arklow, Co Wicklow. The project integrates data centres with renewable power generation, energy storage, and grid support infrastructure, including offshore wind power, onsite solar generation, and battery energy storage. The development will feature two onsite energy centres, one capable of exporting electricity to the national grid during low renewable output periods. It connects to up to 800MW of offshore wind energy from Arklow Bank Wind Park Phase 2 and solar PV systems generating over 6,000MWh annually. This project is part of Echelon's €4.2 billion investment in the DUB20 and DUB30 facilities, with construction expected to complete by 2028.
