Iringa Irrigation Project Sections 3 and 4

under construction

The project involves constructing approximately 78 kilometers of irrigation canals and 85 kilometers of rural roads in Tanzania's Iringa Region, serving more than 8,000 hectares of farmland. It aims to improve irrigation infrastructure, increase agricultural productivity, and benefit tens of thousands of farmers across multiple villages. The project is part of the larger Mkombozi scheme and is expected to enhance rice supply to major cities such as Dar es Salaam and Dodoma.
