Description | The Ironstone development is a massive housing project approved by the City of Westfield that will bring more than 1,700 single-family homes and townhouses, as well as a mixed-use district with 250 apartment units. The project spans 765 acres on the north and south sides of 206th Street, near Horton Road and Six Points Road, adjacent to the Monon Trail. It includes four districts with different home types and amenities such as playgrounds, tennis and pickleball courts, swimming pools, a clubhouse, an amphitheater, and a frisbee golf course. The developer will also donate 40 acres of land for public use, potentially for a future school. The project is planned to be built over the next 10 to 15 years, with impact fees funding road and infrastructure improvements including road reconstruction and roundabouts. |
