Information Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited [BPCL] has come up with Irugur Devangonthi Product Pipeline with a ticket size of 1732 INR Crores. This project in Oil/Gas/LNG Storage sub-sector involves The current status of the project is - and is being developed through the EPC route. Economic/Social Impact of the Project The project scope broadly includes following facilities -16 inch diameter, 352 Km long multi-product Pipeline from Irugur [coimbatore] Terminal to Devangonthi [Bangalore] -Terminal for transporting MS, HSD, ATF & SKO. Pipeline shall have a design capacity of 3.5 MMTPA. -Construction of pipeline dispatch terminal at Irugur, Tap Off Point at Sankari and Pipeline Receipt Terminal at Devangonthi. -Construction of new Rail loading facility at Devangonthi. Original date of completion- 28.02.2017 Revised Date of completion - 31.10.2025 [considering receipt of approvals from TN Govt., State Authorities and NHAI for laying of pipeline along their RoW and approx. 52 kms through private RoU in TN State by March 2023] Original Cost- Rs. 678 crore Revised Cost- Rs 1732 crore Physical progress- Implementation not started due to ROU issues in Tamil Nadu.
